Child Assessments, Focused Instruction Yield Results

For children in the early years, learning takes place not only in academic realm. Social-emotional growth and learning is crucial for young children to develop a strong sense of self, awareness of others, and ability to develop positive relationships and tackle challenges.

Through observation and assessment, EWECC teachers identify children in need of extra support, who participate in discussion groups, small-group activities, and other instruction. As this year’s third trimester begins, new observation and assessment shows the extent of their growth and learning. On to new challenges!
