Pre-Kindergarten Program

Children from four to five years old in Eleanor Whitmore Early Childhood Center’s Pre-K Program develop skills through exploration of a classroom set up to provide multi-sensory experiences, and through participation in small-group learning sessions.

Staffed by one lead teacher and two to three assistants, a teacher-to-child ratio of 1:5 is maintained at all times in the toddler classroom.

This allows for individualized, one-to-one interaction for each child with a teacher throughout the day, along with various group activities that help children develop key social-emotional skills.
