The first 5 years matter most! Your gift helps to ensure that all children in our community have access to high-quality early education. The Center is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. All gifts are tax deductible. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like a copy of our annual report.
Your gift makes a difference. Especially in uncertain times like now. When we support a child, we strengthen our community. All gifts are 100% tax deductible. Thank You.
Nancy McCaffrey Scholarship Fund
The fund provides tuition assistance for qualifying families. The town of East Hampton has the second highest poverty rate in Suffolk County and roughly 65% of children who attend The Center are from low/extremely low-income households.
Our tuition remains below market rates to ensure that a diverse population is able to enroll. While tuition and grants cover much of our $1.4 million operating budget, The Center must raise additional funds each year from individual donors to cover operating expenses and keep The Center accessible to all families in our diverse community.
Pop-Up Food Pantry
This past Spring when COVID hit our community hard, we surveyed working families to understand how we could help. Consistently, the feedback was about food insecurity. Many families, who have never needed or gone to a food pantry before were reluctant to do so. With guidance and help from area food pantries we started a weekly Pop-Up Pantry providing food and necessities to our working families. Each week we serve 50 families in need.
Become a sponsor of one of our well-attended and publicized fundraising events; or sponsor a program, like Parenting in the 21st Century; Nutrition Program; sponsor a child in need; adopt a classroom. Whether as a business or an individual, we will match your objectives with our needs and customize a plan that works best. Contact us at email@example.com
The Center serves two hot meals and two healthy snacks every day, free of charge. For some children, this is their most important and nutritious meal of the day. We work hard to ensure quality and seek to educate children & families through our partnerships with Share the Harvest Farm and The Wellness Foundation. Want to get involved? Contact us.
