Parenting in the 21st Century

Meetings take place regularly throughout the year and feature presentations by experts as well as discussions among presenters and attendees on a variety of important topics. This program is in partnership with East End Pediatrics and the East Hampton Healthcare Foundation. Presentations, focusing on areas from wellness to parenting tips to child development, are made in English on Monday evenings, Spanish on Wednesday evenings. All meetings are open to the entire community. RSVP appreciated.

Pre-Kindergarten Program

Our full day Pre-Kindergarten Program is open to children ages 4 and 5 years old from the Springs, Wainscott, and Sagaponack school districts. Private Pre-K spots are also available. Pancake Breakfast

The East Hampton Fire Department hosted our first pancake breakfast in November 2019. It was a well-attended event filled with a sense of community. We look forward to having more breakfasts and welcome everyone to join us!

The Reading Garden – Daffodil Planting

In memory of Maureen Wikane, we have created The Reading Garden around the beautiful sculpture entitled “The Reader” in our front drive circle.  We sold over 500 daffodil bulbs and families were invited to plant the bulbs that will bloom in the spring.

Sunny Days Exhibition

We partnered with Guild Hall and the artist Ugo Rondinone for his Sunny Days Exhibition incorporating the sunshine drawings of our Pre-K students.

Summer Family Fun-Raiser

The Center held its first Annual Family Fun-Raiser in August 2019 and what a success it was! It was so much fun we decided to make it an annual event for the families of our local community. There are games, live music, face painting, arts and crafts, and other activities specifically designed to entertain and delight the youngest members of our community.
